Target, one of the largest and most highly respected retail store chains in the United States, has opened its doors to Transcend's JetFlash V30 USB flash drives. Beginning April 20, 2008, all 1,620 Target stores nationwide will begin offering the entire JetFlash V30 family of USB flash drives. Customers will be able to purchase the slim and compact drive with capacities ranging from 1GB to 8GB.

Target Corporation is one of the top ten largest retailers in the U.S. by sales, and the second largest in the general retail industry. Target generated $63.3 billion of revenue in fiscal 2007 through sales of apparel, electronics, housewares and other product categories through both online operations and its 1,620 Target stores across the U.S. Target has aggressive plans to have 2,000 stores open by the year 2010, including expansion into Alaska and Hawaii.
