Transcend's 1TB StoreJet 35U and 500GB StoreJet 25M external hard drives recently scored well in a comparison test recently conducted by the popular German magazine, ComputerBild. In the 3.5" hard drive category, Transcend's StoreJet 35U achieved the fastest data transfer speeds in the test. In addition, the StoreJet 35U remained cool at maximum of just 35°C during continuous operation, while other drives ran up to as much as 60°C. As a result, the StoreJet 35U received an overall "good" ranking. In addition, Transcend's StoreJet 25M was also awarded a "good" rating, and was particularly praised for its favorable transfer rates and its useful OneTouch auto-backup feature. After extensive testing, the StoreJet 25M performed flawlessly, with zero entries marked in the review's "disadvantages" category--a remarkable achievement in itself.
