This August 1st, Transcend opened its first retail store in Beijing China, which is located in ETopone Electronics Plaza in Beijing's Haidian District. Just a few months later, the second Beijing Transcend Store was launched in the Chaoyang District's Buynow IT Market on October 14th. With dynamic store design and exciting product displays, the new Beijing store received hundreds of visitors during its grand opening celebration. This new retail location brings the total number of Transcend Stores worldwide to 16.
Transcend was the first memory module manufacturer in the world to open its own retail shop. The purpose of establishing the Transcend Store is to provide customers with up-to-date product information and efficient after-sales service. In addition, Transcend hopes to promote its brand image and to increase overall sales through direct contact with customers at Transcend Stores. Transcend opened its first overseas retail shop in Hong Kong in 2007. Presently, Transcend has a total of 16 retail stores across Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
