Green Transcend

Green Program

All products have their life cycles. The life cycle refers to the period from the selection of raw materials until its final withdrawal. In fact, any environmental impacts may happen in each stage, ranging from material selection, manufacturing process, packaging transport distribution, to end of life. Our goal is to minimize any possible impacts, no matter how hard it would be.

Transcend Enviornmental Technology

To reduce environmental impacts caused by products during life cycle, Transcend has developed several environment technologies, such as low profile PCBs, new packaging materials, and so on. In the following chart, you can check each item's contribution to our green program, and click "Learn more" for further information.

From July 1, 2006 the use of these materials has been severely restricted in most electrical and electronic products sold in Europe.
